We are proud to unveil our new toolbar! Similar to the familiar Google toolbar (ours allows you to search Google!) the PCFIXd toolbar has extra features not found anywhere else! We have a new ActiveAlert(c) system built right into the toolbar
that we use to deliver occasional warnings about serious threats to your computer. Whether you have one PC at home, or 100
computers networked at the office, PC FIXd has a service to suit your
needs. We can do on site PC repairs or network maintenance
or support, but we can also repair your computer in our workshop. As we
are based in Plymouth, Devon, UK, we repair PC's in and around the
Plymouth area, although on occasion we do travel further
afield. At PC FIXd we are expert in
setting up and securing all manner of networks, from broadband home Internet connections,
to WiFi wireless networking, to building large networks consisting of many
servers and hundreds of computers. We specialise in offering support for
computers and networks running Microsoft operating systems. We are a Microsoft Registered Partner
and our technical staff are Microsoft Certified Professionals, as well as
CompTIA A+ certified. This means you have peace of mind because your
computer problems will be dealt with by an industry-recognised
professional. We offer a range of services, from
repairing home or business PC's, to virus removal, to data recovery, to setting up a
wireless network, to designing, building and securing large corporate
networks and to designing and implementing effective disaster recovery
strategies. We also do system security evaluation
and can provide you with a detailed report showing known vulnerabilities
on one machine, or your entire network. Additionally, we can document
every computer on your network. We can also do automatic hardware
monitoring on your computers. This will result in an automated alert when
hardware changes are detected. Our Microsoft partner status means that
we have a privileged relationship with Microsoft. This means we often have
access to resources that Microsoft doesn't allow most companies access to,
which in turn helps us to do a better job for you. Remember: As
from 30 June 2005 Microsoft does not offer mainstream support for Windows
2000 Professional anymore. This means that only extremely critical flaws
will be patched and that they will charge for all support calls. E-mail us now to find out how we
can help you migrate to Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, so that you
can enjoy uninterrupted support. Do bear in mind that if you are running Windows 2000
Server that your network might be compromised if you cannot keep the
operating system up to date. |
