You can! With our RemoteRepair? 2001 service we can securely and remotely connect to your PC and work on it as if sat in front of it.
We use unique software to connect, which you may download below. Once installed, the software will connect to our servers, to allow us remote access to your computer. We can never connect to your computer from our side!
These are some of the security features of our software:
- You can always see exactly what we are doing
- The connection starts from your PC and the software will never accept incoming connections to your machine
- The connection is encrypted. Even if somebody managed to "eavesdrop" over the Internet, the data they intercept will be garbage to them
- Our software will automatically remove itself from your computer when we are done!
Please note that there is an hourly charge for this service, which is payable in advance via NoChex. You do not have to have a NoChex account to make payment via NoChex - all you need is a debit or credit card!
To use the service, your computer obviously needs to retain enough functionality to connect to the Internet. Regretfully this service is only available to customers with high speed Internet access, such as ADSL (broadband).
